Mr. Bhatia is a highly respected professional with an exceptional track record in financial forensics, insolvency resolution, and real estate governance. He previously served as Ex-Forensic Auditor appointed by the Supreme Court of India in the high-profile Amrapali Group case, where he played a pivotal role in uncovering financial mismanagement and ensuring judicial transparency in a matter impacting thousands of homebuyers.
He currently serves as a Member of the Monitoring Committee constituted to oversee stalled housing projects being revived and completed by the National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC). Through this role, he continues to safeguard consumer interests and reinforce governance standards in large-scale real estate rehabilitation initiatives.
Strategic Leadership in Policy, Taxation, and Compliance
In addition to his judicial and forensic responsibilities, Mr. Bhatia serves as Co-Chair of the Direct Taxes Committee at the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, where he actively contributes to:
